The basic core values of conservatism. Electing conservative Republicans. That's what East Central Minnesota Republicans and this website intends to focus on. We'll leave the peripheral issues of who might be the purest conservative and which Republicans don't quite live up to every single plank on the party platform to someone else to deal with.

This website is set up as a resource for individuals and Republican organizations who want to: 1) elect Republicans 2) defeat liberal Democrats and 3) work with other Republicans while doing so. In other words, if you want to expend time and energy attacking other Republicans, this website is probably not for you. We intend to focus on defeating the real opposition, the liberal Democrats who want to grow government, raise our taxes and chip away at our freedoms.

Our short-term goals include:

• Keeping Minnesota's governorship in Republicans hands.
• Recruiting candidates for public office.
• Build a larger circle of volunteers and financial supporters for GOP causes.

The name "East Central Minnesota Republicans" connotes a regional effort, but at this point has no defined boundaries. We hope this website can be a conduit for cooperation and sharing of resources, to the extent possible, among all who want to "get back to the basics" and elect conservative Republicans.
